Wrapped in a flour tortilla dressed with a mayonnaise-mustard mixture are deliciously sweet apples, sliced ham, American cheese, and lettuce making a sandwich that can be served both as a meal and appetizer.
SERVES: 6
PREP TIME: 15 Minutes
COOK TIME: No Cook Time
Ingredients

2 medium apples, thinly sliced
1 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons lowfat mayonnaise
3 tablespoons yellow mustard
6 flour tortillas
12 ounces (12 slices) cooked ham
12 American cheese slices
3 cups lettuce, chopped

Directions
Step 1  Step 1:
Core apples, but do not peel. Cut each apple into 12 thin slices. Stir together water and lemon juice; drop apple slices into the mixture to prevent browning.
 
Step 2  Step 2:
Combine mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl. Stir until well blended.
 
Step 3  Step 3:
Remove apple slices from the water-lemon juice mixture and pat dry. Spread each flour tortilla with 1 tablespoon mayo-mustard dressing; layer with 2 slices ham, 2 slices cheese, apple slices, and lettuce.
 
Step 4  Step 4:
Roll the tortillas tightly; cut each in half diagonally.
 
Step 5  Step 5:
Serve sandwiches with Potato Chips and a medley of fresh melon.
